Get Adobe Acrobat ReaderQ: What are the band's stage needs?

A: Basic PA (sound board, main speakers, cables); three vocal mics on boom stands; space for a five-piece band. The Dalloways can provide a sound system, depending on the circumstance of the venue. Q: Where did the band name come from?

A: The band prefers to let the name resonate for itself. What are its connotations? Send us an explication if you like. We may just post it here!

Penalty CrusadeQ: What's the connection between The Dalloways and Napoleon Dynamite?

A: Recognize the moody girl on the cover of Penalty Crusade? If you're a cult fan of the hit movie Napoleon Dynamite, then you know her as Julia (Yuka) Ruell who plays Uncle Rico's new love that rides up on the bicycle toward the end of the movie. Ruell also edited the film and happens to be married to the shot's photographer Aaron Ruell who plays Kip in this Hollywood sleeper sensation.

Question: Bassist Matt Wall sounds Canadian. Is he from Canada?

Answer: Good question. We're working on the answer. Until then, talk to him after a show and decide for yourself.

Question: Where does Matt's nickname, Bluff, come from?

Answer: He rocks on stage so much that the band felt he was deserving of a rockin' name, like Sting, or Slash. Just watch him on stage, and you'll see how fitting the nickname really is.
