Bird in Box promotes shows in the urban centers of Fresno and Bakersfield located in the Central San Joaquin Valley of California. These two valley cities are ripe for dreampop and other alternative genres of music and make for excellent tour stops between the SF and LA areas.

BIB specializes in bands/shows that fit loosely into the dreampop, shoegaze, 60's pop, new/nu wave, and Brit pop genres. If you share an affinity for bands such as Belle and Sebastian, The Smiths, The Doves, The Lilys, Kings of Convenience, My Bloody Valentine, Franz Ferdinand, The Catherine Wheel, Coldplay, The Shins, The Beautiful South, Echo and the Bunnymen, then BIB should be right up your alley.
